West African Environmental Conservation Initiative [Waecinit] was established / incorporated in 2016 under the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A Non-Governmental Organisation, Non-Profit Conservation Initiative that deals mainly on protection and conservation of an endangered species of Cycad family (Encephalartos Barteri ssp. Allochrous and Canarium plants), listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened/Endangered species, in line with other economic value trees that are vetch of being extinct
